Pregnant women often have pain in the crotch recently. Is it time to give birth?

Mommy has had sore thighs in the past two days, accompanied by tearing pain in the lower abdomen and lower body, and often feels weak. So, if a pregnant woman often has sore crotch recently, does it mean that she is about to give birth?

Pregnant woman has pain in crotch, is she about to give birth?

During pregnancy, the uterus will expand and the pelvic cavity will be congested. As the uterus continues to grow, it will rub against the nerves in the pelvic cavity to some extent. When the nerves are rubbed and compressed, it will of course cause pain. The pubic bone and bladder area are compressed more severely, and you will feel a little pain. As long as the abdominal pain is not very severe, it is basically normal, so there is no need to worry.
However, you should consult a doctor if any of the following situations occur:
1. Abdominal pain combined with vaginal bleeding: indicates complications of pregnancy, such as miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, premature birth, early placental abruption, etc.
2. Abdominal pain combined with frequent urination: This may be bladder inflammation.
3. Severe abdominal pain: It may be due to ovarian cyst torsion, cecal rupture causing peritonitis, or urinary stones.
4. Abdominal pain combined with vomiting or diarrhea: It may be gastroenteritis.
As for being eight months pregnant, it is normal to have sore hips. Due to gravity, the uterus and fetus are constantly pressing on the hips, so it will cause soreness. Some people have unilateral pain, some have bilateral pain. Sometimes because of the pressure, the feet will feel like they are bent when walking, and they feel a little crotch-sick. This is normal. Some people have difficulty walking because of severe pressure.

What are the symptoms of a pregnant woman about to give birth?

The mother feels as if the baby is about to fall out, which means the baby's head has sunk into the mother's pelvis. This usually happens a week or several hours before delivery.
Increased vaginal discharge. This is because the sticky secretions during pregnancy accumulate at the cervical opening. Because of the stickiness, it usually acts like a plug to block the secretions. When giving birth, the cervix swells and the plug is no longer effective, so the secretions will flow out. This phenomenon often occurs a few days before or just before giving birth.
A trickle or spurt of watery fluid leaks out of the vagina. This is called rupture of the membranes, or water breaking. This often happens a few hours before or near labor.
Regular cramping or back pain. This is caused by the alternating contractions and relaxations of the uterus. These contractions become more intense as labor approaches. Pain is inevitable as the cervix expands and the baby is pushed through the reproductive tract. This phenomenon only occurs at the beginning of labor.
