Symptoms of luteal insufficiency

1. Insufficient secretion of progesterone shortens the menstrual cycle

3. Although the basal body temperature is biphasic, it rises or falls in a step-like manner, and the luteal phase is shortened to 10 to 12 days.

5. Insufficient corpus luteum leads to insufficient duration of high temperature. As shown in the figure below, the high temperature lasts from the 14th day of menstruation to the 21st day, which only lasts for 8 days. Generally speaking, if the high temperature lasts for less than 12 days, it means insufficient corpus luteum.
