1. Children should start taking sugar pills when they are 2 months old, 1 pill each time, for 3 times, with an interval of ≥ 28 days between each dose, and take it again when they are 4 years old. Other age groups can also take it when needed.

Sugar pills can greatly reduce the incidence of polio. Polio vaccine is a preparation for preventing polio. Because it is shaped like a bullet, it is commonly known as "sugar pills". It tastes sweet and children like to eat it. Sugar pills are made of attenuated polio virus. After the baby takes the sugar pills orally, antibodies against polio virus will be formed in the body, and the disease will be avoided. Therefore, every baby should take it on time within the prescribed time. The correct way to take it is to grind the sugar pills, dissolve them in cold boiled water and feed them to the baby, or swallow them directly. 4. Do not take the vaccine hot. Do not take it with hot water or mix it with other drinks to avoid killing the vaccine virus. You can eat hot food half an hour after taking the vaccine. Stop breastfeeding half an hour before and after taking the vaccine, because breast milk contains antibodies that will affect the immune effect. If vomiting occurs during taking the vaccine, take it again.
