How to reduce the pain of childbirth? Is painless childbirth really painless?

Childbirth is something every mother looks forward to but also fears. After finally getting through the ten months of pregnancy, she still has to go through tremendous pain to successfully give birth to her child. Is there any way to reduce the pain? How can one be an elegant mother?

Exercise every day during late pregnancy

Friends and relatives all asked me how to give birth quickly and easily. I asked this question because it took me 8 hours to give birth to my first child, plus the waiting time. It took me 2 hours to give birth to my second child, plus the waiting time. The actual delivery time was about 2 hours for the first child and less than 30 minutes for the second child. Because the second child was born so quickly, I even saw the process of my own delivery. The doctor didn’t even have time to draw the curtain before the baby came out. The curtain was drawn after the delivery and the contents were cleaned up. Okay! Today, I will share with you how to be an “elegant mommy” during childbirth! I remember my doctor told me to exercise every day after the late stage (that is, the 28th week), and not more than 30 minutes a day. How should I exercise? Basically, I did three kinds of exercises myself: 1. Walking; 2. Climbing stairs; 3. Pelvic exercises. I persisted in doing this until I gave birth... I think the third kind of exercise is the key to the fastest delivery among these three kinds of exercises, so mothers who want to do this exercise after 36 weeks, please consider it on your own, because you are about to give birth, so please be extra careful when doing it... After the reminder, I will tell you what "pelvic exercises" are.

How to do pelvic exercises

Pelvic movement is divided into two stages:

In the first stage (28-31 weeks), first put the soles of your feet together, then tilt your body down 45 degrees, and take a deep breath for 5 seconds while doing this; then slowly stand up, and exhale deeply for 5 seconds while standing up. Do this 5 times a day... As your belly gets bigger in the later stage, it will be very tiring when you do it. You can rest for a few minutes after doing it again. As for the number of times, if you really can't reach that many times, at least do it 2-3 times!

The second stage (31-birth) Please hold on to a sturdy chair at home, then squat in a horse stance, with your feet in a "ㄇ" shape and shoulder-width apart, then squat down, take a deep breath for 5 seconds when going down, and exhale for 5 seconds when coming back up, and repeat this 5-10 times. Finally, I remind mothers again that you should do pelvic exercises according to your personal physical condition, and the number of times you do it should also be based on your own load level. Don't force yourself! The above is my experience sharing, and I hope everyone can be an "elegant mommy" together.

If you are afraid that childbirth will be too painful, you can have an epidural.

Today, I will give you a correct medical concept of painless childbirth. Don't say that "low back pain" after the injection is a problem of painless childbirth. Mommy's gynecologist told mommy that in fact, many female doctors will also use "painless childbirth" when they give birth. She said that a medical thing that even doctors do is enough to represent its safety. The benefit is of course to reduce pain~ The side effects are vomiting and nausea, but these are very minor side effects, so everyone does not need to be nervous. As for the reason why everyone mistakenly thinks that painless will make the body sore, it is because when administering "painless childbirth", it must be injected into the lumbar spine, so many people mistakenly believe that there will be a side effect of low back pain. In fact, epidural anesthesia is performed at the lumbar spine, and it does not enter the spinal cavity containing nerves, so there will be no low back pain. People like mommy who did not use "painless childbirth" also have low back pain, so this is basically not related to whether to use "painless childbirth" or not. In addition, my doctor told me that all invasive treatments have risks, and the same is true for "painless childbirth". So if you have poor coagulation function, poor immunity, poor cerebrospinal cord, spinal deformity or back infection, you are not suitable for the injection. Also, "painless childbirth" is a self-funded part, and the cost must be borne by the mothers themselves. So before giving birth, mothers can understand many aspects and communicate fully with the doctor so that they will not be in a hurry during delivery and make inappropriate decisions.

Additional knowledge: Why do mothers have back pain after giving birth? In fact, it is because during the delivery process, the mother's body will naturally secrete a lot of relaxin, allowing you to open your pelvic cavity to a certain extent during delivery to allow the baby to be born. This natural body hormone will stop once the baby is born, and then the body will naturally retract the pelvis. During this retraction process, mothers will begin to feel back pain.
