Which is better, Kao Pampers or Unicharm diapers? - Usage comparison

Kao, Pampers, and Unicharm are all maternal and infant brands. They have all launched diaper products. New mothers don't know which one to buy for their babies. So which one is better, Kao diapers, Pampers diapers, or Unicharm diapers?

Comparative evaluation

I have used diapers from Kao, Unicharm, and Pampers. I think diapers are not like milk powder. You can't easily change them after using one. You have to choose the diapers that are suitable for your baby. Today I will compare the diapers from Kao, Unicharm, and Pampers, and share some of my own opinions. 1. Thickness comparison

The choices were the Kao, Unicharm size M and Pampers size L that I used. My six-month-old Pampers size M is completely out of my reach.

Kao is thicker, followed by Pampers and Unicharm.

2. Comparison of softness and comfort of diapers

From the comparison of the feel of the inside of the three diapers, Kao and Unicharm are softer, while Pampers can feel the water-absorbing beads inside, which makes the baby's bottom uncomfortable. The touch of the side is also softer for Kao and Unicharm.

As for the elastic waist of diapers, Unicharm does a better job, with elastic waists on the waist and both sides of the magic tape. Kao only has elastic waists on both sides of the magic tape, and Pampers has none at all, which is why I can't use Pampers size M.

3. Small butt wrapping

For babies with chubby butts, Pampers diapers are a bit narrow and prone to leaking urine. Kao and Unicharm diapers have better wrapping properties.

4. Comparison of urine absorption

The most important function of diapers is of course their ability to absorb urine. Miaomiaomama compared the speed of urine absorption, urine absorption capacity and water-absorbent inner layer for mothers.

It can be seen that Unicharm absorbs water faster, followed by Kao, and Pampers is slower. This is also a reason why babies' butts are prone to redness.

Put a layer of paper on the diapers added with water. After pressing, there was no sign of water leakage on Kao and Unicharm, but there was a little water leakage on Pampers.

Finally, here is a comparison of the water-absorbing beads on the inner layer of diapers.

Cut open the outside and you can clearly see that the biggest contributor to the diaper is the water-absorbing beads inside. You can see that Pampers has added a layer of cotton wool on top of the water-absorbing beads, which may be the reason why Pampers diapers absorb water slowly. Among the three diapers, only Pampers has a slight gap, while Kao and Unicharm perform well.
