What should new mothers prepare?

Most of the maternity bags were purchased by flying to Hong Kong during the Chinese New Year when I was 24 weeks pregnant. I bought them at the Lotus Maternity and Baby Supermarket at a 10% discount for members. Although there are flagship stores of Medela, Avent, and Mustela on major domestic websites, I still don’t trust online shopping. It’s most reliable to go there in person. Regarding pacifiers, I personally think that they are basically maternal and infant products that are harmful but not beneficial. I think Cui Yutao's claim that they are usable is unprofessional and unscientific. Most mothers buy them because they think they look good, which is actually irresponsible to their children. When I was in college, the teacher of the advanced maternal and infant professional course did not recommend this product for babies. As a former kindergarten teacher, I don't recommend it to everyone because it will cause dependence on the baby and it is difficult to quit. If you don't use it, there is no need to quit. A little girl in my previous class was very dependent on pacifiers. She had to use it for her daily nap. She would cry when it was taken away, and her parents were also very distressed about how to quit the pacifier. Of course, it is up to the mothers to decide whether to buy it. I personally don't think it is necessary.

They are available everywhere in China. They are very common and convenient to buy. You don’t have to worry about running out of them. These two models were also recommended to me by my sister. Both of her babies use Pampers and Kao. I asked experienced mothers around me. I don’t need to buy too many diapers because babies grow fast. So I don’t plan to stock up. If I don’t have enough, I can just go to the supermarket to buy more. I bought 1 pack at the supermarket and 3 packs at Wanda Children’s Event.

After using it, the cotton of Pampers is not flat and not as absorbent as Kao. Kao does not have a rear leakage prevention design, so it is easy for babies to leak urine and feces. However, the common disadvantage of these two diapers is that they have a glue smell, which is probably because some kind of sticky adhesive is added.
